My name is Davide Locatelli. I live in Bergamo, Italy.
After graduating in Architecture and Design in 2010, I left for what I consider to have been my first real trip. A 130km walk along the South West Coast Path in Cornwall. It was a very meaningful journey to me. The next year I decided to hit Europe by myself on Interrail, an experience that kept me around for a month and opened my eyes.
Since then, I have traveled whenever I could, trying to get as much ground under my feet as possible and to feel part of the world.
Then, I got my Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Over the years and trip-by-trip I made more and more my idea of what it really means traveling and I have come to the conclusion that it is nothing but a way of being. This way of being, to me, has found full expression in photography, which I find to be the most effective way to tell something, from a fact to an emotion.
